Prep at home
Exfoliate and shave or wax the day before. Arrive with clean, dry skin: no moisturiser, deodorant, perfume or makeup.

Ten minutes in the studio
Ladan matches the shade to your skin tone and sprays you evenly in a private room. St Tropez or Black Magic, your choice.

Develop, rinse, glow
Leave the tan to develop as instructed for your solution, rinse in lukewarm water, then moisturise daily. It lasts around five to seven days.

St Tropez or Black Magic
Two professional tanning systems, both applied by hand for a natural, streak-free finish. Ladan is certified in the St Tropez tanning system, the salon standard for a golden, believable colour. Black Magic Tan is an Australian professional range with a fast-developing formula and a range of depths. She will recommend the shade for your skin tone and the event.
Before your tan
- Exfoliate the day before, especially elbows, knees and ankles
- Shave or wax at least 24 hours before
- Have manicures, pedicures and waxing done first
- Arrive with no moisturiser, deodorant, oils or makeup
- Wear loose, dark clothing and open shoes
- Book two days before a big event so the colour settles
After your tan
- Avoid water, sweat and tight clothing while it develops
- Rinse in lukewarm water, pat dry, no scrubbing
- Moisturise daily to keep the fade even
- Keep showers short and skip long baths and pools
- Avoid exfoliants and oil-based products
- A course of three sessions is the best value at $125

How should I prepare for a spray tan?
Exfoliate the day before, and arrive with clean, dry skin free of moisturiser, deodorant and makeup. Wear loose, dark clothing to your appointment.
How long does a spray tan last?
Usually five to seven days with good care. Moisturise daily and avoid long, hot showers to keep it even for longer.

Do I need a consultation before booking a treatment?
Every treatment starts with a free consultation. Ladan looks at your skin or brows, talks through what you want and recommends the right option. There is no obligation to go ahead on the day.
Where is the studio and do I need an appointment?
The studio is a private in-house space at 2 Baeckea Place, Frenchs Forest, on Sydney’s Northern Beaches. It is by appointment only. Hours are Monday to Saturday, 9am to 7pm.
Who will be doing my treatment?
Ladan Farajpour does every treatment personally. She has twenty years in beauty and over fifteen years in cosmetic tattooing, so you see the same therapist every visit.
How do I pay, and do you sell gift vouchers?
EFTPOS and cash are both accepted in the studio. Gift vouchers are available for any treatment or amount. Ask when you book or call 0432 403 503.
